It's all meaningless. There is no fix. There's a better chance of fixing the Middle East (0.001% better, only because we could turn the ME into glass).

Best prayer - that the next nutjob/radical/thrillseeker's gun jams.

Ok, now, let's slow down here. We don't know if this is terrorism or not. It's not as obvious as a deranged white Ted Kazinski type going berserk situation...

Gun control is tacking a band aid onto the symptoms and not the cause. It's the typical manufactured bickering argument designed to get half the sheep into one political party and the other half into the other.

I mean, my guess is that gun ownership rates aren't even rising? Seems like older people have more guns than younger ones, around here at least.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

Terrorism + 1. Strike a blow for jihad and take out a supervisor or two (plus the guy in accounting who swipes your falafel).

The question is - is it Islamoterrorism, or did he just want to burn down the office? Plenty of workplace shooters have stockpiled materiel and planned meticulously. The tipping point for me is the new Pakistani wife - pussy has turned many a milquetoast into a murderer - and my guess is that she radicalized him.

We found our scapegoat. Not just a Jew, a Messianic Jew. If there was ever a group that should be blamed for all ills, it's that one.

Well if the shooter was teased about his Muslim looking beard, then his actions were understandable. He might have driven to mass murder because someone said "Merry Christmas" or "God bless you" when he sneezed.

Workplace shootings have been triggered by less. Just last week, someone took the piece of cheesecake my wife had in the fridge in her office's break room. Trust me - if there had been a gun nearby, she would have shot the place up.

What kind of person becomes a jihadi terrorist? Specifically, what kind of educated person? The overwhelming majority of graduates recruited into Islamist terrorism studied engineering, science and medicine. Almost none are social science or arts graduates, according to research. The insight could have important implications.

Almost half (48.5%) of jihadis recruited in the Middle East and north Africa had a higher education of some sort, according to a 2007 analysis by Diego Gambetta that is cited in Immunising the Mind, a new paper published by the British Council; of these 44% had degrees in engineering. Among western-recruited jihadis that figure rose to 59%.

All this is no coincidence, concludes Martin Rose, the British Council’s senior consultant on the Middle East and north Africa. Immunising the Mind – his report – gathers a wide spectrum of opinion in support of the contention that science education fails to inculcate critical thinking in the way that the debates within arts teaching do. Rose coins the notion of “an engineering mindset”, which makes science students easier prey for terrorist recruiters.

The Muslim liberal arts students were too busy taking courses on "Photographing Hot Female ankles" to learn about building explosive vests.
