So UGha has a Gator alum for its OC. I hope it works as well as having a Dawg alum as an HC at UF.

If Danny hadn't been there when he was we would have still been talking about him the same way we talk about Danny. Don't know how good a coordinator he is, but he ewas one hellova good qb. His daddy was pretty good coach too.

If Danny hadn't been there we would be nostalgic about Eric Kresser. Schotty always said he came to UF to be a backup QB so he could stand next to SOS learn how to coach - he had already decided he was not going to be a Div1A starter.

I like the hire. He's going to do a great job of running the ball first and hitting the play action back shoulder passes with our WR's and TE's. It's really up to Pruitt to change our fate from a 10-2 also ran to 11-1 contender. That's really the only margin of difference between titles and Citrus/Outback Bowls. So frustrating, but when you look at Tennessee it gives you perspective.

Running the ball first and then throwing play action passes is what UGA has been doing for decades. It's been working about 10 games a year.

Richt is well on his way to losing ANOTHER big game.

Hundreds of thousands of UGA fans' heads start exploding in three...two...one...

Correct. Oh so correct.

Georgia and Bama have the same talent level. But Saban teams have the killer instinct and Richt teams need the Heimlich maneuver.

UGA fans have been getting increasingly whiny and desperate in recent years. This will make them start jumping off bridges.

But never fear: Richt will bend Auburn over for the umpteenth time and save his job. And the whole cycle will repeat.

The Georgia Bulldogs' MLB counterpart - the Chicago Cubs - just got swept in the NLCS.

I wonder if the Dawgs will go 97 years between championships like the Cubs have. And counting.

Another WLOCP.

My one question is this: why does Jacksonville smell so bad?

Perhaps GBJ can enlighten us since he lives there.

Then wherever he moved, he can still smell Jax if the wind is right.

I think you are referring to the steel mills. They do put out a terrible odor if the wind is wrong. But nothing like Birmingham the two or three times I was there. I looked across the field in the third quarter and assumed all the Game fans went to the restroom at the same time. The trouble is' thy never came back to enjoy the end of the game.
