Umm, okay. Iran = Hitler's Germany. That's not even worth the effort.
Pfft, North Korea. How 'bout this little timeline:
1994 they agreed to a pact whereby they wouldn't seek to manufacture plutonium...they didn't break the deal until 2003. Bush was too intent on invading Iraq to do anything about it.
In 2005 the norks signed another deal - with dubya - pledging to give up nukes in exchange for economic benefits. That agreement was signed after months of wrangling...sound familiar?
A year and a half later, NK detonated a nuke underground and dubya had egg on his face.
Then in 2007 the Norks begged for more concessions in exchange for dumping their nuclear program. Bush gave them $400 mil and they blew up a cooling tank...wheee!
In 2008 NK complained that Bush hadn't taken them off the list of nations supporting terrorism as part of the deal and therefore they would resume harvesting plutonium. So in a Rose Garden ceremony 10/11/2008, NK was formally removed from the list of state-sponsored ter-wrists.
December 2008, the six-party denuclearization talks fall apart. The North vowed there would be no more talks. Dubya left for TX January 2009.

I think your timeline was his point. Partisan omissions on both sides ignored, that countries of that ilk can't be trusted.

If this really is the only note you're gonna play for the next nine years, please answer this: Are those 4 dead Americans any more dead..as a result of a planned terrorist attack, rather than a murderous rampage sparked by a film?Professor Tiger wrote:

That is what Rush Limbaugh told everyone to do 7 years ago, get drunk first and then (reluctantly, drunkenly) vote for McCainProfessor Tiger wrote:My first choice is Rand Paul. I seldom listen to Rush, but I'll take your word for that.
IB, who's your first choice for the GOP nomination? Are you like Ann Coulter and still holding a candle for Mitt Romney?
I'm guessing your second choice is Jeb. He's a former governor, he's rich, and he not completely fluent in the English language, sorta like Romney.

I am with Ann, still holding out hope that Romney changes his mind. He is my first pick and (at this point) my only pick. I don't have a second pick. I don't think any of these guys are serious match for HRC. I think she's got it and there is not anything that any of us can do to stop her.Professor Tiger wrote:I seldom listen to Rush, but I'll take your word for that.

As far as Trump, I haven't figured out if he is a sincere candidate or if he is just a HRC "plant" placed there to shake things up and ensure HRC wins. I just don't know. I think his remarks are costing him a little money (maybe a few million of his $10 billion) but perhaps that would indicate that he IS (in fact) sincere? I don't know yet. It wouldn't surprise me if he wound up winning the GOP nomination.

I guess you and Ann prove the old adage: "Once you've had Mormon, you never go back."As far as Trump, I haven't figured out if he is a sincere candidate or if he is just a HRC "plant" placed there to shake things up and ensure HRC wins.
Here's an interesting scenario: Trump loses the nomination, and then goes Ross Perot.
