Heh. The poster couple of making huge amounts of money based on their political insider influence peddling and capital cronyism is now going to campaign by railing against the evil people who make huge amounts of money based on their political insider influence peddling and capital cronyism. That is hysterical. It's like Bill running a campaign on the evils of adultery.

Alas, they will win anyway.

British folks discuss the impact of slavery in England - with the usual slavery apologists. A fairly even discussion, but odd with British accents.

IQ and School Achievement - Education.com http://www.education.com/reference/arti ... ievement/

Studies repeatedly show that performance on intelligence tests is correlated with school achievement (N.Brody, 1997; Gustafsson & Undheim, 1996; Sattler, 2001). On average, children with higher IQ scores do better on standardized achievement test, have higher school grades, and complete more years of education.

My point is that I doubt education level is causative with regard to political party identification. I don't believe that if you control for everything else and have an identical person graduate college and another identical person drop out of college, that the drop out will be more likely to have one affiliation or the other. The reality is that education levels are typically correlated with other idicators.

For example, one factor is that at the extreme ends of the age spectrum, replublicans have a bit of an advantage on the oldest end and democrats have an advantage on the younger end. This in itself would contribute to an education difference since people in this country that are aged 30 are probably far more educated than the typical person who is age 70.

Of course, there probably are nutballs who would agree with the implication of your charts. They think that schoolin' is libruhl indoctrination or some such nonsense.

Actually the nutball who started this sideshow will probably try to refute the charts...while holding fast about the evils of libruhl indoctrination (from the pinhead elites!).

I can see how liberals have more college degrees. Young college grads take classes and get degrees in things like Feminist Studies and Afro-American studies which indoctrinate them in liberalism. The good news is, their college degrees in such fields ensure they remain in low paying and menial labor positions which ensure they are in no position to influence anyone else.
