Yes, I made over $100,000 on a $1,000 investment in cattle futures over the course of ten months, even though I had no experience in commodity investments at all. Nothing questionable about that. Just beginners' luck.

Ooops... look at this. I just found those Rose Law firm billing records that were subpeona'd a year ago. They were right here on my coffee table the whole time!

I did not... have ... sexual... relations... with that woman...Ms. Lewinski.

There is a connection between 9-11 and Saddam Hussein's regime.

We will be hailed as liberators.

Mission accomplished.

You're doing a heckuva job, Brownie.

Even though there weren't any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, we must nation-build for the millions of Arabs who are thirsting for freedom.

Harriet Myers is the most qualified candidate for SCOTUS.

There is no problem with Dubai running all the major ports in the US.

When my plane landed in Bosnia, I was shot at by snipers.

When we left the White House, we were dead broke.

The attack on the consulate was a spontaneous demonstration caused by a youtube video.

What, at this point, does it matter?

If you like your health insurance, you'll get to keep it. Period.

Those tens of thousands of Lois Lerner emails subpeona'd in the IRS scandal were accidentally erased.

I used a personal private email system to conduct public business as Secretary of State. There's nothing wrong with that.

I decided to delete all those emails on my private server, which included public records, which must be archived. There's nothing wrong with that.

When I was Secretary of State, foreign governments contributed a lot of money to my family's foundation. There is nothing wrong with that.

Yep, all of those were meekly accepted by the majority of the public. It's only been 4 or 5 brave souls in here who have fathomed the truth. Carry on, comrade...

Every one of those statements by Hilary are par for the course for any politician. That's a far cry from some Orwellian government tyranny over its populace. But you already know that...

Also, for most of our lifetimes, around 50% of the voting age populace even bothered to vote for president. If that holds in 2016, it would mean that probably somewhere b/w 26-28% of the populace will vote for Hils. A far cry from "the majority" you cite. Now then, if you want to make a case for low voter turnout being another example of the Orwellian nature of these United States, go ahead. I'd say it's more of an example of our laziness. A true Orwellian state would mandate that everyone has to vote, and would also dictate who they voted for...

But I should probably defer to your judgement about what counts for Orwellian and what does not. After all, you are an enthusiastic member of the church, the most creepily Orwellian structure ever invented...

The scrutiny of lies/misstatements by any politician was 180 degrees from what it is today prior to 2008. Anyone who can't understand the sea change that happened in '08 is willfully blind/ignert. This has nothing to do w/tyranny of government, but everything to do with the press and how they have come to see themselves as brokers of truth and present both sides. Hillary is getting away w/a fuckton of lies, (and thus we are less secure) but my main concern is how the MSM is enabling this....

The aspect of 1984 that I mentioned is the current and growing Newspeak, as defined by Wiki as:

language).
Newspeak is the fictional language in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, written by George Orwell. It is a controlled language created by the totalitarian state as a tool to limit freedom of thought, and concepts that pose a threat to the regime such as freedom, self-expression, individuality, and peace. Any form of thought alternative to the party’s construct is classified as "thoughtcrime".
Today we call Newspeak "political correctness" and thoughtcrime "hate speech." Ask conservative college students and the former CEO of Mozilla how powerful it is.

"It is a controlled language created by the totalitarian state as a tool to limit freedom of thought and concepts that pose a threat to the regime such as freedom, self-expression, individuality, and peace."

Yeah, that's exactly what I got from all those quotes you posted. But again, as a member of the church, you are not only well acquainted with such tyranny over thought, but you positively delight in it. They have done their job well with followers like you...

If you think liberal Newspeak/political correctness allows such things as freedom, self-expression, individuality, and peace, then I suggest you attend any major secular college and stand up in class and say, "abortion is murder" or "homosexuality is immoral" or "the science of global warming is far from settled." After you awake from your tazing in the county jail, you'll feel the liberal love for diversity of thought and the free exchange of ideas.

I know why you're worried. You think Hillary will gin up some kind of Middle Eastern war, the MSM will go along with it, and we'll be bogged down militarily there for God-knows how long.

I pledge on the lives of my future children that I'll do, say, or write whatever I can to see that doesn't happen. I'm with you on this one. No more fucking world-policeman, no more fucking nation-building. Comrade!

Well, you don't interrupt class, but at most liberal colleges that I know of you can speak your mind. There are "pro life" groups on many campuses. "March For Life" marched right through UAB. No one cared. I know of no one being razed or even punished. Now, are such groups and protests rare? Yeah, and they're getting more rare.

In Alabama that's probably true. Someone saying "abortion is murder" or "homosexuality is immoral" or "the science of global warming is far from settled" would get a rousing "Amen!" and "Preach it brother!" and "Roll Damn Tide!"

It's true, all of it. Plus the Duke lacrosse team, and Rolling Stone at UVA. Plus the 32 innocents killed at Virginia Tech. And Jamesis Winston stealing those crab legs.

See, college is hard. HARD. Don't let anybody tell you different. Fool me once...can't get fooled again, see?
