During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

Like we've known all along....the MSM has a whole lot more in common with democrats than they want to admit. Did Williams learn from experts, like the Clintons, or vice-versa?
Turness and the other executives who had gotten involved quickly became frustrated, as they would remain for days, with Williams’s inability to explain himself. “He couldn’t say the words ‘I lied,’ ” recalls one NBC insider. “We could not force his mouth to form the words ‘I lied.’ He couldn’t explain what had happened. [He said,] ‘Did something happen to [my] head? Maybe I had a brain tumor, or something in my head?’ He just didn’t know. We just didn’t know. We had no clear sense what had happened. We got the best [apology] we could get.”
....In November 1992, NBC’s newsmagazine show Dateline aired an hour-long segment purporting to show that the gas tanks on certain kinds of General Motors pickup trucks tended to explode on even low-speed impacts. G.M. responded with an investigation of its own that showed that Dateline had rigged the dramatic explosion that was the program’s climax by affixing model-rocket engines to a truck’s underbody.

Announcing the invasion of Iraq on March 19, 2003, President Bush said, "Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised."
On September 9th, 2004, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Bush said: "I recognize we didn't find the stockpiles of weapons we all thought were there."

For troops in the U.S.-led multinational coalition, the death toll is carefully tracked and updated daily, and the names and photographs of those killed in action as well as in accidents have been published widely. A total of 4,491 U.S. service members were killed in Iraq between 2003 and 2014. Regarding the Iraqis, however, information on both military and civilian casualties is both less precise and less consistent

“If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.”
“I don’t want to pit Red America against Blue America. I want to be the president of the United States of America.”
“We’ve got shovel-ready projects all across the country that governors and mayors are pleading to fund."
“For people with insurance, the only impact of the health-care law is that their insurance is stronger, better, and more secure than it was before. Full stop. That’s it. They don’t have to worry about anything else.”
“We reject sweeping claims of ‘inherent’ presidential power.”
“I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States."

Looks like somebody - probably the Russians - hacked into the State Department's computer system.
Gee, I wonder how that happened. Could somebody in the higher echelons of the State department have been using a private email account to conduct official business? One that lacked the security protections of the authorized system and was therefore easily hacked and provided an easy gateway into the official system?
That could never happen.

It's a sign of these weird times that Putin has more access to Hillary's official State Department emails than the Congressional subpeonas do.
Putin probably hacked the State Department computer system to make sure that the millions he donated to the Clinton Global Initiative, while Hillary was Secretary of State, was being well-spent.
I know, I know... "At this point, what does it matter?" Her poll numbers will probably go up.

Assorted quotes from the 2012 election season:
Rush Limbaugh "The country's economy is going to collapse if Obama is re-elected, people."
Mitt Romney "Under Obama chronic unemployment will continue for four more years or longer."
Newt Gingrich "Obama should be your candidate if you want $10-a-gallon gasoline."
Michele Bachmann "Obama is the final leap to socialism."
Mitch McConnell (2010 remark often recast) "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

I'm sure that Tip O'Neil and Bob Michel said the thing about Reagan, Steny Hoyer and Tom Daschle said the same thing about W, etc. It just wasn't reported. It's called partisanship.Mitch McConnell (2010 remark often recast) "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

Funny you should mention Tip and Ronnie since their battles over social security ('83) and tax reform ('86) are viewed as classic examples of bipartisanship and the [lost] art of negotiation and concession.Professor Tiger wrote:I'm sure that Tip O'Neil and Bob Michel said the thing about Reagan, Steny Hoyer and Tom Daschle said the same thing about W, etc. It just wasn't reported. Partisanship CAN mean doing the best you can for everybody and then claiming as much credit as you can. Obstructionism otoh means making life as miserable for everybody as you can and then pointing the finger at the other guy. Go back and read Mitch's words again...slower...diagram it if you like. It definitely has an obstructionist ring to it.

Good thing folks like Harry Reid are around to stop all this obstructionism.
....and certainly the PAH deciding her royal self which e-mails should be turned over to the gubment is obstructionist in the highest degree.

Remember the debt-ceiling shitstorm (and the resulting credit rating downgrade)? Cost us 20 billion. The government shutdown? A direct cost of 24 billion..and also reduced 4th-quarter GDP growth from 3% to 2.4%
lol Faux News feeds you the "goods" on Hillary and you can't wait to spread the news. Good boy..
