If memory serves that Malaysian pilot was a suspect..something about a flight simulator they found at his home, and the fact that he had made no plans beyond the flight date.

I guess that's one thing the airlines can't guarantee...the internal wiring of the pilots.

I can only imagine what was going on with that plane - the passengers watching the Pilot desperately banging on the door as it started rapidly descending.

Two of my co-workers' best childhood friend was aboard. They were like the three musketeers as kids. Really sad. And, even if they find remains, it will be weeks before they can have a funeral. Surviving wife but no kids. Yeesh.

Why did the pilot have to be crazy to crash the plane? Maybe he's got 2 or even 3 teenaged, early 20s daughters and a wife going through menopause. Maybe that was the sanest thing he'd done in years.

Saw a short interview with a victim's kin this a.m. He said the airline should have known about the co-pilot's state of mind. I may be jaded but his comments almost sounded scripted.

There is suppose to be a report out there that says the co-pilot had a ripped up doctor's note in his apartment that was suppose to take him off active duty.
