Just saw this in wikipedia:

"Several teams played in both the NIT and NCAA tournaments in the same year, with Colorado and Duquesne being the first to do so in 1940. Colorado won the NIT in 1940 but subsequently finished fourth in the NCAA West Region. In 1944, Utah lost its first game in the NIT but then proceeded to win the NCAA Tournament. In 1949, eventual NCAA champion Kentucky suffered elimination in the NIT before going on to win the NCAA."

Without Kentucky, is there any way Coach K announces that Jahlil Okafor is a one-and-done player in November? That’s the same coach who lectured William Avery’s mom that her son was “going to fuck my program” if he left early for the NBA.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

That was like 20 years ago...

On another note, I hope nobody had Iowa State going very far, they gone. Thankfully, I had them losing in the next round to SMU. But considering that I have UNC beating Duke for the national championship, I don't think my call on Iowa State is going to save my bracket...

To be fair, Coach K got on the 1-and-done bandwagon before Calipari even came to Kentucky. He never complained about Kyrie Irving.
