We have 2 competing brackets contests?
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

if we normally use yahoo (I didn't bother to check) then just ignore mine.aTm wrote:We have 2 competing brackets contests?
Yahoo will probably be better anyways.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Paducah isn't too bad - the downtown area has been revitalized. Its actually very quaint.DooKSucks wrote:My fiancé is staying in Bowling Green, KY tonight. She was in Paducah today. She is ready to be back in Fayetteville...

So is it vitally quaint or quaintly vital?

Then Bowling Green and Paducah must be horrid shitholes that have reminded her of Fayetteville and made her homesick.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
Kentucky is being setup for the biggest fall of time if they lose. I can't remember sports shows talking this much about any basketball team.
I don't think anyone has even mentioned Villanova as a viable #1 seed

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
It's a shame, really. If they lose at any point in the tourny, going undefeated up to that point is going to be forgotten and they will be considered failures. That's not right, but then again, it's like you UK guys always say about Cal, if you can't take the spotlight and expectations of UK fans, you should go somewhere else. They knew what they were signing up for, fair or not...

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
40-0 only comes around once in a lifetime
we will never see 17-0 in football--patriots got that one the very last game
could history repeat itself
will african kids be happy even though they dont know what the hell 40-0 on their tee shirts is supposed to mean?

from KSR
All of the fun we’ve had watching Tom Crean fail at Indiana these past six or so years may be coming to an end when IU loses to Wichita State on Friday. There are rumors swirling around the interweb that Crean is interested in the Alabama job, and his tone last night on his final radio show of the season suggests he may be gone.
Crean said, “The support all of you have shown over the years and especially the last week — I can’t tell you what that meant to me to walk in here and see so many people being that way. That gave me a huge jolt for the rest of the week. And again, it’s little things like that that make you really appreciate what people are all about. And the way this place was and the way you have been all year long and the support that you show — it’s beautiful outside today but we’ve also come in here when it was zero degrees out. And the loyalty that all of you have to Indiana basketball and what you’ve shown to the Creans and what you’ve shown to us, that never ever goes unappreciated. I promise you.”
Crean then thanked radio host Don Fischer, saying, “There is a lot of great honors you can get in any walk of life, especially in coaching basketball, but being able to partner up with you for the last seven years and being able to be in here with you this year and being here at this podium with you, I’ll put that right at the top, and I’m dead serious. So thank you, for everything.”

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
I thought the same thing about Fayetteville when I started dating her. Dating her and moving there has changed that perception. It has major issues like any town, but it has many positives that people don't know abour or care to know about. Is it the place I envisioned myself moving to, buying a home and starting our married life together? No, but I don't mind living in Fayetteville.Saint wrote:DooKSucks wrote:She is ready to be back in Fayetteville...

Oh yeah. The wedding is June 6. None of you are invited.
