Blatant ignorance is correct:

1. While Alabama has had its share of racists and bigots throughout history, that does not mean that I condoned, approved of, supported, or am responsible -in any way- for what those people have done.

2. Even though racism, murder, jaywalking (etc) have occurred in my general geographic area, it does not preclude me from speaking out when I see racism, murder, or jaywalking. There is no "Sorry, your honor, you can't charge me with killing in Ohio because Jeffrey Dahmer went to Ohio State!" Likewise, you are not responsible for the rather notorious Indiana KKK; and Cletus is NOT responsible for the actions of John Wayne Gacy (etc, etc, etc), You do understand that, don't you? Put down your mayonnaise sandwich and stomp your hoof twice if you're starting to understand.

3. However, IF I had said something along the lines of, "He is a racist because he comes from a racist state like Indiana," you would possibly have a sincere chance to look up from your gay anime porn graphic novella, wipe the Cheez Wiz from your bloated, pock-marked face and belch, "IRONY!" but even then, the more appropriate word choice would be, "hypocrite!"

Carolina's 5 starters are going comprise the entire first team ACC selections this year. Quite possible that we will have 4 All Americans on the team (maybe not first team AA, but somewhere on the list). UK will lose at least 8 games this year...
