I'm seriously fearing UK runs into a Mercer v Duke type situation in the tourney. Gritting out some tough wins is one thing, but to do consistently win ugly for long stretches doesn't bode well.

Actually, this is the type of game we could win. Dook is better than we are, but they're not unbeatable and I'm not even sure if they're really a great Dook team. If we come out and play, we could win, esp. if they're not on. Of course, we could easily lose by 20 as well...

On his radio show tonight, John Calipari said he doesn’t mind reporters interviewing him during games ala Greenberg and if he did, he’d tell ESPN to stop it. “I couldn’t care less,” Cal said. “I’m not going to answer the question they’re going to ask anyway. And if it’s too long, I just walk away. It doesn’t take me off point.”

Cal said that ESPN wants to mic him up every game, which, sadly, he has declined; however, don’t think for a minute he minds the attention. “They’re riding this pony,” Cal said. “This pony is Kentucky basketball. They’re riding the pony.”
