Have you ever seen him on a Sunday morning political show? At best he's an effeminate southern nerd/dandy. I don't care about his sexual orientation, but I can't stand such an obvious pussy....
I work on Sunday mornings - haven't seen Meet The Press or Face The Nation since GHWB was President.

That's what they called the 1965 Selma protesters, as well.

The Selma protesters were completely peaceful and driven by the highest moral principles. When the thugs attacked them on TV, it was utterly clear who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. It changed the country for the better.

The Ferguson rioters didn't have the same moral clarity. They were driven by stealing and destruction of their own community, not any moral principle other than a group temper tantrum. They diminished national sympathy for their grievance, which was the opposite of Selma.

Those people are just common thieves looking for an opportunity to get more free stuff. Protesting isn't running oft with cartons of cigarettes.

A basic businessowners policy excludes coverage for "riot or civil insurrection." Hope they had an all-risk policy...

Greta Van Susteren is the only female on Fox that does not look like a supermodel. That's probably the biggest reason their ratings are so high.

In 1953 we were two minutes to doomsday. Then we gradually jumped up to seventeen, bumped around a bit, and now we are back down to three.

I pretty much agree with their assessment of the threat of nuclear weapons - particularly in the hands of terrorists.

As far as the "threat" of global warming, we don't appear to be anywhere near a climactic apocalypse. Case in point:

If you scroll through those photos from all over the world, you can see just how close we really are to exploding into flames.

The issue with nuclear weapons technology is that it is 70 years old. Even as the US & Russia upgrade their arsenals, the technology to build simple or dirty nuclear weapons is readily available anywhere in the world where you can use a cell phone - the only missing ingredient is the weapons-grade fissile materials . . . we think . . .

Kodak confirms it had weapons-grade uranium in underground lab

http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/15/us/new-yo ... k-uranium/

Kodak -- the company known for decades for its cameras and film -- this week confirmed it used weapons-grade uranium in an underground lab in upstate New York for upwards of 30 years.

U.S. Can’t Track Tons of Weapons-Grade Uranium, Plutonium

http://www.wired.com/2011/09/uranium-mia/

But according to a report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), issued late last Friday afternoon to little fanfare, thousands of pounds of highly-enriched uranium and separated plutonium remain. American officials may never get a chance to ensure its security.

That’s because the U.S. can’t track or fully account for 5,900 pounds of “weapons usable” nuclear material that it once shipped overseas. Instead, U.S. officials have to rely on foreign governments’ assurances that the potentially cataclysmic stuff is safe. And when those officials occasionally visit the sites holding the nuclear material, nearly half the places “did not meet International Atomic Energy Agency security guidelines,” according to the GAO, Congress’ investigative arm.

How can you waste time thinking about missing plutonium when polar bears are dying?

The polar ice caps have disappeared, just like Al Gore said they would by now. The science is settled.
