is it a prerequisite for Colt QBs to throw peytons against the Pats in the playoffs? or is it just tradition?

Re: Crashcourse's NASCAR and Manning > Brady Regurgitation
Deadskins fan making fun of teams actually in the playoffs. HEH x 2.
I am sure Kenny and Peyton will let you be the meat, London Bridge, and/or finger cuffs in your sick little fantasy about both of them. Throw on some George Michael and you will be all set.
Like I said in other thread , if this latest cheating incident is true, take away all of their draft picks for the next 2-3 years. One or two isn't good enough.
Now I know it wouldn't change the outcome of the game BUT a cheat is a cheat.

I find it odd whenever I see Peyton Manning nationwide jokes on message boards that people apparently have no clue how to come up with a slogan with the proper number of syllables to go with the tune.

Re: Crashcourse's NASCAR and Manning > Brady Regurgitation
I'm certainly not a Patriots fan, but we were under inflating game balls when I played in high school and that was in the late 70's. It does make them easier to catch. But it was so common I can't even imagine this being a controversy. The kickers wanted them fully inflated so we kept one pumped, but they were allowed to use a worn, practice ball.

So do underinflated footballs make it harder to tackle LeGarrrete Blount?

Underinflating balls and not mowing the field the week before a game are time honored home team tricks in hs football. As they say in NASCAR, if you ain't cheatin' you ain't trying.

That's if you say fired as a two syllable word.

Exactly. If a team is fast and small, let the grass grow high and water it a few hours before kick. Put the away team's bench facing the sun in afternoon games. TAMU under Sumlin (a couple of years back) made sure the visitors' lockerroom's AC didn't work for the September games.

The only difference is there is a specific rule in place concerning the inflation of the balls. Now, I certainly don't think under-inflating the ball by 1 lb. is enough of a crime to warrant any kind of severe penalty. I'd say twisting a guy's ankle on purpose at the bottom of a pile is more egregious than under-inflating the ball, and you know stuff like that happens every single games, multiple time. 15 yard penalty, play on. Everybody is up in arms about this b/c of who it is and the stage. But it's just not that big a deal. Plus, it seems like it would be impossible to prove Brady or Belicheck had any role or even knowledge of it. You can't tell me the guy whose job it is to inflate the balls doesn't know Brady's preference after all these years. He doesn't need Brady to tell him directly to do it, he's probably been doing it for years. That guy might get thrown under the bus out of necessity, but I bet the Patriots (or at least Brady) would look after him in that case...
