McElwain hires MSU's Collins to be his DC, leaving Durkin as a complete lame duck for the bowl game. Teams with such coaches often tank in bowl games but we'll see.

As already stated, teams without the coach that carried them through the season more often then not play like crap in a bowl game. Utah would have been my 35 point pick in the old Donkey bowl contest.

Hell, this is the one year we had absolutely zero expectations for our hoops team and we finally break the skid to the strangely attired Gators on the greatest derp play I've seen in a long time.

Next year we could be pretty good if the 5 star players coming in can be as good as advertised.
