they're going to be a pain in the ass to the ACC

but they do make the conference the same in basketball as the SEC in football

I can agree with Goldie on one issue... The twins. Couldn't stand them last season and this year is no different. Ulis should be the starting point guard. More energy and plays without that smug look.

someone got all bent out of shape at Nc St fans on Catspause telling people to go to their board and talk shit - most of the people were like = don't piss those people off , they'll bring down our program!

they played this just prior to the game in Rupp. It really is a sign of respect for UNC because we don't do this for anyone else that I am aware of

I remember Roy wore a brown suit to Rupp one time as a nod to Coach Rupp. Also, if I was a UK fan, I would've liked the way the number 8 slammed down on top of the number 5...

It was a good run, hope it will be renewed. I definitely regard UK as a bigger rival than, say, NCState. Or anybody, really, except Dook. This series has been going on, what?, 12 or 13 years?

UK led in games won since the series started, 8-7, with the all-important tie-breaker being the elite 8 tourny game a few years ago. That game obviously wasn't part of the series proper, but I'd trade a few of the regular season wins for that one. Of course, we have a couple of elite 8 wins over UK, one coming in a year Stu and I were in attendance at another elite 8 game (UCLA over UConne, 102-96, great game) before we went to watch UNC over UK at some dude's house. The other one was a little before my time (1974). The way things seem to be heading now, I'm not sure we'll be playing in many elite 8's in the near future, and certainly not any against UK that I'd feel like we had even a decent chance to win....
