Happy that the previous rankings didn't mean anything.

We won't play them.

Yeah. We get to lose to Ohio State. Yay.

I may go to New Orleans anyway since I already have a room - that should be a good time - two fanbases that travel very well - should be some good trash talk, drunken excess, gambling etc

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Just think if it was still 2, would undefeated FSU be left out so Bama could play Oregon for the NC? Talk about pissed off fans...
Really, that's the biggest success story of the weekend. In the past Oregon, OSU, TCU AND Baylor would have been left out. That would have been a bigger tragedy. God bless this Final Four.

TCU and Baylor just didn't have the star power that tOSU has and since it would be harder to justify taking one over the other than leaving both out, that's what happened.

AA's right that there will still be complainers if the field were 8 (there are in the NCAAs with 68 teams invited) but at least with 8, you'd have pretty much everyone who has a reasonable shot at winning 3 games and being national champion. Baylor and TCU will always be left to wonder "what if" in this scenario.

I said the same thing about myself playing QB for Cleveland. That's the power of the spectator to see the field better than the ones playing and to execute with precision better than them, too.

Yes thank god Hoyer was the QB yesterday for Cleveland or else the Colts would have gotten blown out.

I saw all the Dog Pound people giving shit to guy in a Colts jersey sitting with them in one of the end zones. Whatever direction the Colts backs were facing in the 1st quarter I believe.

I hope he told them to eat shit at the end of the game.

At least the first 5 wouldn't be good games. Too many teams.

If we had a 16 team playoff would the regular season drop down to 10 or 11 games?

I think you're way off on your 8 team playoff predictions. I think Bama would beat MichSt, but doubtfully by 24 pts (but that is the one I most agree with), MissSt would have a good chance of beating Oregon (not saying they would, but in any case I don't see Oregon running them by 27 pts), TCU could easily beat FSU, ditto Baylor over tOSU. In short:

Manziel gets a start against the Bengals

Finally a reason to watch a Browns game

16 is way too many. 8 is the perfect number. only 2 teams will have to play 3 games and 4 teams will play 2 games so it's really not that many extra games. 8 is completely doable and should be done as early as next year.

Pivot: I think Winston not getting an invite as a finalist for the Heisman (not shocking, but still) spells a bit of trouble for Oregon.
