Miami > Clemson > ... > Wake Forest > UF

It was a good rivalry for many years but it's just not anymore. I remember being up in Canton with my ex wifes family for many years when they played during Thanksgiving weekend. Killed me because they made me play golf instead.

I'm not saying FSwho isn't a rival - they just aren't the first team I want the Gators to beat every year. Plus too many women in my family went there to foster any major animosity.

It is Florida and then Auburn/Tech for me. Florida is the most important game on our schedule. Tech and Auburn are tied for second.

I'm not dissing FSU. I want UF to beat them and I want FSU to lose every week. I just want UGA to lose even more. They are the team I want UF to beat every year more than any other. That's the way it is and always will be.

Heh - I know most Gator fans (especially older ones) think the Dawgs are their main rival and I completely understand why.

Hell back in the day when the Noles and Canes were playing for the NC every year and you guys were just trying to stay off probation year to year - I hated Miami way worse than you guys.

Plus like Ghost says - I have too many family members that I love/loved that were Gators to the core.

Foley kinda fucked this one up. They've been boasting about it all being a done deal, fully knowing that he had a HUGE buyout clause (crazy for a smallish school). The only way they can get out of it is by agreeing to play at CSU in the future.

Adding these buyout clauses to a contract doesn't cost the school a thing. The coach signing it just has to decide if he wants to be an expensive hire if and when the opportunity arises.
