Two Gators block each other again. I blame Urban Meyer

Ridiculous, but not as bad as the Georgia Southern block. Muschamp is done, but he did in Georgia. Fuck...

Reports are the Muschamp has been fired.

A rather enjoyable last minute and overtime.

An unjustifiable firing. No man not named Jesus could have taken the crap left behind by Urban Meyer and turned it into a quality program four years later.

Urban would still be there had it not been for his heart condition and near death experience.

He had a year with them, got it out of his system, now he's better.

Meyer didn't leave us empty. With a decent coach we would have won the east this yr. We have one of the best defenses one the nation and an offense that is more than capable bit a coach the is afraid to open up the offense. Same thing in 2012. We were 11-1 regular season. Uga beat us because of a last second fumble.

Foley listened to me just as he did 10 years ago. Maybe Wil can re-christen Ron Zook Field to Zook-Muschamp Field in a few weeks.

Interested to see who pops up on the radar -- of course heard the traditional Bob Stoops supposition, though this time it might not be an automabc raise for him at OK. Rich Rodriguez? - you gotta be kiddin me. It's getting very popular to say that Mullen will not be candidate. Gary Patterson? don't know anything about him beyond his W-L record. And how about AA's favorite - Paul Johnson?

Uh...no WAY on Paul Johnson. He's so crotchety that he would piss off the Bull Gators in record time. Rich Rod would actually be a decent choice; failed at Michigan but I think he'd do well at UF. Mullen should strike while the iron is hot, or at least throw something out that would make it worth a jump. He's making $3.2M now - hey Foley, if you double that I'm in. Patterson's a defensive guy and I don't see them going that way again.

Suggest we ,make ou ref def coordinator as interim head coach. Roper's offense would work without muschamp's handcuffs.

They'll probably do that for a bowl game (if we make one by beating EKU next week).

I think Rich Rodriguez would be a fantastic hire for Florida. A rather good book has been written about Rich Rodriguez's failures at Michigan-- those failures were not entirely of his own making. He has great recruiting contacts in Florida, and he runs an offensive system tailor-made for the sort of athletes Florida always has. I don't know that Rodriguez ought to be the first choice, but it would make sense to me that he'd be on the short list.

I'm going to be really pissed if Addazio bolts his "dream job" (as he has repeatedly said his HC job at BC is) for Florida. But it wouldn't surprise me if he does.

After TOBy and Jags, nothing surprises me.

UF fans HATED Addazio - he was their Jeff Bowden. He's done well at BC and expectations are low. He'd get a lifetime contract with 5 straight years of 9 wins and Top 25 recruiting.
