Anyone who knows football understands that I was right all along. We did not look good vs West Va, So Miss, FAU....and with Florida we looked decent for one quarter.

Bama is indeed a flawed team. And I've been saying it all along. Some people have a greatly exaggerated opinion of their football IQ . Greatly.

I think you do exaggerate sometimes, but I've always marked it up to being a hypercritical fan. And that's not a criticism of you, I am the same way when it comes to Carolina basketball. It's a mark of high standard you set for what you are are willing to call true greatness, and, like with Carolina hoops, you have seen what that is and you know what isn't. I don't doubt that you have watched more Alabama football with a more critical eye (critical as in discerning, not just finding fault) than anyone else on here. I think the worst thing that can be said about you as a fan is that your standards are too high. Which is the best problem a fan can possibly have...

Anyway, this Bama team is up for a number of losses this year.

Auburn is just better. 15% chance of winning.
Miss State is just better. 15% chance of winning.

I think we are probably as good (or better than) TAMU, position wise, but they match up better (the opposite of Arkie). So, I give us a 40% chance of winning.

I think Arkansas is as good, but we match up well against them. I give us a 60% chance of winning.

I think we are a bit better than LSU. I give us a 65% chance of winning.

I think we are better than Tennessee. I give us a 70% chance of winning.

We have a 100% chance of winning vs Western Carolina.

This is shaping up to be an 8-4 Outback Bowl Saban team - which is not good. Kirby Smart's stock is way down. We are continually befuddled by the uptempo game.

I don't know....I think they will look at him. Although I am holding out hope that Coach Boom keeps his job.

I hardly ever watch/listen to Paul Finebaum. But I wish I could tomorrow, just to listen to the Bama fans.

Really? I can't imagine tuning in to hear Auburn fans after a loss. Funny thing is, even after a big Tiger loss, those AU fans will still talk about Bama. For that matter, even tomorrow, after a big win vs LSU, they will again be talking about Bama - which is a strange soup of sad and funny.

So, I guess your comment is par the course.

That wasn't saying "ho" or "hum" - not sure where you got that. It said:

You're reading comp is still poor, Dave. Are you sure you went to UVA? If you did, perhaps you had swimmer's ear and couldn't listen in class.

Phyllis from Mulga is getting all sorts of play on "The Worldwide Leader" now that Finebaum is an ESPN property

Phyllis from Mulga represents that large contingent of the Bama fan base that non-Bama fans love to listen to on tv/radio, especially after a Bama loss.

If it were up to me, she'd have her own radio show.

For those of you are unfamiliar with the unforgettable Phyllis from Mulga, here is her reaction to Bama's loss, as expressed to Colin Cowherd:

Colin Cowherd is a no-talent idiot. Phyllis is a poor, uneducated woman living vicariously through Bama athletics. I fail to see how quoting or posting about either is interesting in the least. I don't understand why anyone is drawn to either. Or, for that matter, a Charles from Reeltown or Tammi (the latter two, auburn fans).

If I ever makes post sound bytes here of any of those I named, somebody shoot me because I have become too pathetic to live and should be mercifully put out of my misery.

I agree about Cowherd, but disagree about Mulga. I like listening to stuff like that, irregardless of the fan base they ostensibly represent...

I don't think that's limited to America, at least with regard to this sort of thing. FWIW, I bet Phyllis from Mulga loves GWTW...
