True. By the time the second half started, I was not feeling any pain, but I still had some of my senses. What little bit I had left was filled with rage towards our back line, Howard and the entire nation of Mexico.

One of the drunker ones at the party (which was nothing but drunks) suggested going to one of Charlotte's (location of said party) Mexican restaurants and informing the employees of our feelings about the match, the officiating and their nation, but, thankfully, cooler minds prevailed. I'd rather not have to explain my involvement--even if it was only in a peacemaking capacity--to the NC Bar's Character and Fitness crowd. Character and Fitness folks tend not to be the types that understand what all a good time entails....

I knew we were in deep shit when Cherundolo came off for Bornstein. I fear what would have happened if we had say, put Tim Ream out there instead and let he and Boca get assraped all night by the Mexican forwards, but it might have been better than #12's act. That asshole must've spent the entire game ahead of the ball when Mexico had possession. He's like the last guy coming into the screen just arriving in the box while Mexico is celebrating on at least 3 of their goals.
