So what exactly killed Cantor? He won his district by 17 points just two years ago.

Also, RIP Bob Welch. Wow, way too young.

Yeah. Made me sad about Welch.

He got 58% of the vote so it wouldn't have mattered if the Tea Party ran 1 or 100.
Lots of tears on the campus of Bob Jones U I'd wager.
Yeah, happy for one of their honorary degree holders.

Yeah. Way too young. Ditto James Gandolfini, too.

Hopefully the message the GOP takes away from this is to end all plans for immigration reform and start introducing bills to make English-speaking mandatory to receive all (greatly-reduced) govt handouts. And a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage

GOP will never lose another election!!!!

BTW, I looked it up, and Virginia does have open primaries. So some Dems may have helped doom Cantor.

The Cantor election is about the only case where a Tea Party candidate defeated an Establishment candidate so far this cycle. Yet the conventional MSM wisdom is that the Tea Party has assumed total control over the GOP.

With Cantor's defeat, there will not be a single non-Christian Republican in the House or Senate.

Off the top of my head, I cannot think of any Black Republicans currently in congress.

With the immigration battle probably seizing up Republican efforts to reach out to Latinos, the GOP will have to get 70%-75% of the White vote in 2016 to win the presidency.

My bad. He was appointed, not elected, but still, he's serving.

And on the Good Samaritan in Las Vegas: he saw the gunman and got the drop on him. What he didn't know was the gunman's wife was behind him. She drew her weapon and shot the GS as he was attempting to apprehend her husband.
