You don't have to wait that long. November 4, 2014 will be the referendum on no economic calamities.

"To sum up: climate research doesn't pay well, the amount of money dedicated to it has been shrinking, and if the researchers were successful in convincing the public that climate change was a serious threat, the response would be to give money to someone else. If you come across someone arguing that scientists are in it for the money, then you can probably assume they are willing to make arguments without getting their facts straight."
That's a total bogus argument. If the researchers are successful, and in some circles they are, they make themselves to appear relevant as the "watchdogs" of our very existence. Money would keep coming because they become a priority expenditure.

Tick, you caught me. For every post that doubts MMGW, I get a check from the World Wide Anti-Man Made Global Warming Conspiracy. I'm making a fortune over here. But Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone. I don't want to split the take with Sardis.

During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

All my checks are signed by the Koch brothers. I'm having them framed.

Pool's $352 a month gold plan through Covered California's exchange was cheaper than what she'd paid under her husband's insurance and seemed like a good deal because of her numerous pre-existing conditions. But after her insurance card came in the mail, the Vista, California resident learned her doctor wasn't taking her new insurance.
"It's not fun when you've had a doctor for years and years that you can confide in and he knows you," Pool said. "I'm extremely discouraged. I'm stuck."
Stories like Pool's are emerging as more consumers realize they bought plans with limited doctor and hospital networks, some after websites that mistakenly said their doctors were included.
Before the law took effect, experts warned that narrow networks could impact patient's access to care, especially in cheaper plans. But with insurance cards now in hand, consumers are finding their access limited across all price ranges.
The dilemma undercuts President Obama's 2009 pledge that: "If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period." Consumer frustration over losing doctors comes as the Obama administration is still celebrating a victory with more than 8 million enrollees in its first year.

I've been selling health insurance for 30 years. Network/out-of-network brouhahas have been going on longer than that. I bet some of you can tell some stories. What oprama should have said was "if you like your doctor and he stays in your plan's network you can keep him."
lol and btw... obviously the first thing you do before switching to a new plan and network is call your doctor and ask if they're in the network. Oprama didn't trick her into leaving her doctor. The old gal saw the opportunity to cut her monthly premium by more than half - even with all of her pre-existings - and she took it. Boo hoo.

Things to always keep in mind about obamacare:
GOP-approved Insurance companies make up it's administration, and GOP-approved private doctors and hospitals deliver the care. The individual mandate was a GOP concoction, and Massachussetts' romneycare was the defacto model for the national program.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
In just one week, a barrage of national polling has reached the same verdict: Obamacare's Rocky Balboa-esque announcement that 8 million people have signed up for health care has done absolutely nothing to reverse the law's basic and long-standing unpopularity.
A new high of 55 percent disapproves of the law in a Pew Research Center/USA Today poll. And the Kaiser Family Foundation's tracking poll, a Post-ABC poll and a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll last week all found little lasting changes from earlier this year -- when the law was at the heart of its implementation struggles.

opramacare is the law, so why would anyone "be running on it?" You see anybody running on the Civil Rights Act of 1965?

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread
"The medical loss ratio of the Affordable Care Act creates a higher-value insurance product for consumers," said Dr. David Blumenthal, president of the Commonwealth Fund. He said the rule addresses the possibility that in the past some insurers "may not have been providing the full benefit that the consumer expected in their premium dollars."
"The idea of the regulation is to make sure the plans are paying out more of those dollars for medical care...and not higher compensation for the CEO of the health plan," he said.
Pretty sure you didn't hear about the 3 bil on Faux News. Glad to help out..
