Must be a bitch carrying that jar of change each Saturday morning to the Coinstar machine in the local Piggly Wiggly.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

It's not high stakes by any means, basically a $10 buy in, usually 8 to 10 guys. Sometimes we'll up it to $15. Also allow anybody to buy back in for less chips if they go out before the first blind increase. One guy actually did that a few weeks ago and ended up winning. But he did it twice last week and lost early...

I thought all of them were good popcorn movies. Rise of the 300 is just a remake of 300 but from the point of view of the sea battle that went on while Leonidas fought at the hot gates.

Non-Stop is Neeson doing what Neeson does, just in the confines of a plane and Winter Soldier is ..well..another comic book movie.
showing a plane crisis while on the plane (or were you on your laptop), is just so Airplane

I just read that Mickey Rooney's estate was valued at $18,000 at the time of his death.

He was 95 years old. He should've been disappointed if he hadn't taught his heirs to have left him any more than that at that age...

he had like 8 kids and a a few step kids.

he left the 18K with his maid. He didn't dislike his own kids but they all had jobs so he left the money or whatever it was to the maid.

pretty sad I guess.

Ava was a knockout. From everything I've read, pretty fun to hang out with, too. Cursed like a sailor and a bawdy sense of humor. Smoked like a chimney, but I think they all did back then. She was born and raised a few miles down the road from DS's childhood stomping grounds...

yea I read where she had a museum in Wilson, North Carolina

Cecil B. Demille hired a speech coach for her and they worked with her for 5 months so they could speak. They said they didn't understand a word she said when they first met her. A sharecroppers daughter from Carolina.

I really respect those starlets from the 40's because it was a natural beauty. You couldn't fake much back then.
