When Meeks is UNC his winning both big runs happened when he was on the bench one from up 14-7 and the other when ROy went with james for some strange reason.

Actually, that's a perfectly appropriate end to this season. We're up 8 with under 4 minutes to go and we come down and jack up a 3 instead of milking the clock and preserving a hard won victory. This is absolutely the right way for this bullshit season to end for us. I liked our chances against UConne, but we probably didn't deserve to beat Providence. Oh well, fuck it...

Iowa St is no slouch - plus they had the emotional side of winning without the hurt player.

I know you can't think fast enough but no way should UNC try to call a timeout with 1.6 seconds left - mainly because in the chaos of the turnaround, you're gonna get like 2.2 seconds out of the deal and the defense won't be set.

Calling timeout takes all that away. Roy should have had that contingency in place already in the previous timeout when McAdoo or whatever was shooting the free throws.
