Meeks is a worthless tub of goo right now. Until his fat ass gets in shape, he belongs on the bench. Even though Calipari's one-and-done model has rolled a snake eyes the past two years, he's still killed Carolina's recruiting. While we wouldn't have gotten all of the big men he's garnered in Lexington, we would have at least gotten a few of them. Our interior play is just pathetic. We were almost single-handedly outrebounded as a team by a kid from Nigeria that probably didn't even know what basketball was until he was a teenager.

The stunning thing is, our guards would be even worse sans Marcus Paige. A fucking 5th year senior posts a statline of ZERO points, 3 turnovers, and 5 fouls. It's too bad we couldn't have pinned all that improper benefits shit on him instead of P.J. Hairston.

While I'm in rant mode, this is an absolutely embarrassing roster based on Carolina's standards. Yes, Roy overachieved with this bunch. But he's woefully underachieved on the recruiting trail. I was thinking this week about the signature players all of the blueblood programs will have in the league over the next decade plus:

UCLA = Kevin Love & Russell Westbrook
UK = Anthony Davis & John Wall (with many more to come)
Kansas = Andrew Wiggins & Joel Embiid (and a slew of other big men possibilities)
dook* = Kyrie Irving & Jabari Parker (with more to come)

Meanwhile, who have we got? The ONLY potential NBA All-Star is Tywon Lawson, who is buried in the Western Conference. If Roy doesn't get Harry Giles, our brand is dead. We can't keep living off of Michael Jordan & James Worthy forever.

Loved to see the Tar Holes go down early in the ACC tourney today! It is that time of year, after all, when Tar Hole fans start muttering the same tired incantation, over and over: "Roy doesn't emphasize the ACC tournament, Roy doesn't emphasize the ACC tournament, Roy doesn't emphasize the ACC tournament, Roy doesn't emphasize the ACC tournament, Roy doesn't emphasize the ACC tournament." It's like it's the only phrase they can turn to when UNC does the El Foldo in this event (which is often).

I am surprised your wife is allowing you to post. Shouldn't you be loading up your Passat for another swim meet or does she have you busy doing chores as she sits on the couch drinking wine, checking on your every move and shouting new directions whenever she feels like it?
