I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

If you can remember, I picked Florida to win it all about 3-4 weeks ago and most of the GoatPen disagreed with my choice. Today Kentucky has the distinction of being the first AP preseason #1 to drop out of the top 25 since 1980

Just got back from Honduras last night, saw a guy down there about our age wearing a UK t-shirt and I asked him his thoughts about the team. He wasn't pleased...

Was it a 40-0 shrit?
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

I've been thinking about Warren Buffet's little pool here and the billion dollars he is offering for the perfect bracket. In reality, he is not offering anything. To pick all 63 games correctly before the first one is played, the odds against that are in the trillions, perhaps hundreds of trillions. They are. It would be easier to walk into a random Indian Casino and sit down in front of the Megabucks slot machine and win the jackpot... TWICE. Warren Buffet is no dummy. He know there is no way anyone can predict all 63 games, his money is safe.

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
They are playing like the best team in the country. Fortunately for me I live in Arizona. That means that more than half of the people in our office pool will pick the Wildcats to win the hold thing (just out of homer preference.) I wont have too many other people submitting brackets with Florida at the end.crotch wrote:If you can remember, I picked Florida to win it all about 3-4 weeks ago and most of the GoatPen disagreed with my choice. Re: Ostensibly Hoops
With absolutely no game experience, they had no business being ranked in the top 10, let alone ranked #1.eCat wrote:Today Kentucky has the distinction of being the first AP preseason #1 to drop out of the top 25 since 1980

$2mil is up for grabs. The best twenty brackets each get $100K. Just enter for that. No one is getting the billion.

I doubt UK will ever have a team of OAD's (without a known quantity of veteran experience) ranked in the top 5 again while Cal is coach.
Fool me once.......

Re: Ostensibly Hoops
Depending on who bolts for the NBA, Kentucky will more than likely be ranked somewhere between 7 - 10 to start the season. Seriously doubt they'll end up in the top 10 if Cal relies totally on freshmen again. IMO, Cal's about done his thing at Kentucky. Barnhart needs to entertain the idea of making a list of replacements. I would love to see Bruce Pearl at Kentucky but fans would revolt... just like they did when Calipari's name was first mentioned as a replacement for Gillispie.

Do you still think Tom Izzo would come to UK if they called?

Nope. Would love to have Izzo but he stays at MS. Miller also would turn down Kentucky along with Donovan (again).hedge wrote:Do you still think Tom Izzo would come to UK if they called?
