wasnt liking the fact that they went with MM & WH for true detective and I admittedly thought the early adoration was due to the star power. But they are actin the shyt out of this season, what a great show.
The cat's out the bag, a cable TV series can flesh out characters and story lines at a level that can't be achieved during a 120-150 minute big screen blockbuster
That said, I like the fact that Sopranos, Breaking Bad & The Wire launched careers like Idris Elba & Aaron Paul from nothing, and vaulted middling actors like Gandolfini & Cranston into icons
That's why I wouldnt mind if they stood on the strength of their writing and went with new or lesser known up & comers next season.... even though it's a pipe dream
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?
