This has some crap from the horrible sequels, but it still has some of Gleason's better scenes. He slaughtered the accent at times, but he was so drunk during the filming of the movie that they were lucky to have him standing upright.

Gospel Julibee must have been on either right before or right after something I watched religiously, because that song is burned in on me as well, and I haven't thought of it in 30+ years...

Alice and The Jeffersons trumped the Sunday Night Movie every week, without fail.

Mills Watson played Perkins on both BJ & the Bear and Sheriff Lobo...he also played one of Stacy Keach's deputies in Up in Smoke (which I just watched again yesterday...)

I think Greg Maddux and I would have been in some massive fights. Fuck an ERA. I also like how they passively threw David Cone in the same bin as Maddux. I wonder what his sick shit was.

(and Greg Maddux may be my favorite pitcher, of all time, that I've watched pitch)
