Calipari's stubbornness to play zone will cost him in the big dance.... Can't understand that a coach that is suppose to be as smart as he claims can't see that a zone MUST be part of your defensive scheme.

yea I know but here is the thing

our guys don't foul - I'm not saying they don't get caught , I'm saying we have no transition defense. Watch a game of ours and you'll see the opposing team run from one end to the other and make a layup without getting touched.

The only time we foul - at least in the last 3 games is when the shooter catches the ball flat footed in the paint.

I even posted over on the cats board about 10 minutes into the game that we don't even try to foul a shooter in transition and that must be intentional on our part for whatever reason.
