Amazing, Peyton does his job - they were hurt, they sucked, they cheated.

Peyton fails at his job OR Peyton does his job okay but others fail at their jobs - Hahaha Peyton sucks, Mr Choke, None and done, blah blah blah

So if Peyton and the Broncos win the Super Bowl and he has an average game, to end probably the best season a QB has had........what will your excuse be then? Sherman distracted everyone by running his mouth? The weather was just right for Peyton (somehow if this possible)? The Seahawks weren't really that good? Seahawks coach suck?

Doubt it. If he has a game like he did vs. NE against the best team in the league in the SB then Kudos to him. If he has a horrible game & they still win because of the running backs then yes, some will question . If he loses it will be blamed on the weather and Bronco/Colts fans will be screaming for no more outdoor SBs in cold weather cities. Peyton had a great regular season with a great cast of receivers (which honestly TB didn't have & was surprised they made it that far) & a running back who had a great comeback year. Yet, if he loses he's 1-2 with the clock running out to catch Eli.

"So if Peyton and the Broncos win the Super Bowl and he has an average game, to end probably the best season a QB has had........what will your excuse be then?"

Can't be any excuses if Pey-pey wins the SB this year. Fairly or not, that's how the great ones are judged. Just a win puts him up several notches from where he is now, esp. after the year he's had. If he is the SB MVP as well, ratchet it up another notch. Certainly will put in the alltime greats category. I know his fans already put him there, but if he's the SB MVP this year, so will many others who hadn't. Very much like Elway, up until he won back to back Super Bowls, everybody would've classified him as a great QB. Afterwards, one of the alltime greats. Again, that might not be fair or even a very good way to judge, but that's the way it is...

LMAO @ Dave. All he has left is stating that I am a lifelong Broncos fan.

That IS sad.

Denver. I really want Jacob Tamme to get a ring. He is a helluva TE.

Hey fuckhead Denver fans should be thanking the Colts franchise. They have had 2 QBS drafted by the Colts take them to the Super Bowl.

Fun fact: Joe Montana is the last Chiefs quarterback to win a playoff game.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.
