Point I was making is that the senior citizen HAD a point to make. I'm guessing (I wasn't there, just taking a guess) that he wasn't just ranting/venting the way you portrayed him.

Old men on fixed incomes don't mind paying taxes for good educators. But when you are older, you are more sensitive to the realities of the world because you have less time left in this real world. He doesn't want to be taken advantage of and he doesn't care if what he is saying hurts the feelings of others.

IB, if you are such a goddamned genius and expert on every fucking thing imaginable, why the fuck are you wasting away in Arizona? It seems that someone with such intelligence and knowledge would have been scooped up by a major corporation or government entity, correct?

I don't mind any poster (save a couple that don't really post inside The Pen anyway), but sometimes IB makes real sense. Sometimes he doesn't, but I just don't have the time or energy to copy/paste his questionable statements and rebut them that often. I used to do it in my WX days with posters, but I realized it doesn't matter for some people. So, unless I have some personal interest in working on my argument skills wrt a topic, I sit silent.

So, I welcome IB's posts...and yes, he's an average joe. I don't know if we have geniuses here.
