Our check was mailed 1/6/21 and we received it 1/28/21.

It's nice, but we don't need it. Yeah, we can "use" it, but I think the cutoff's and phaseouts should be lower.

You need a bank account to receive the money. I've yet to meet anybody from North Carolina smart enough to manage a bank account. That explains why you don't have it.

The call-in guest on CSPAN this morning is some infectious disease expert, somebody just called in and said he's got the macular degeneration that requires him to get some kind of shot every month (I wish Rat would get shot every month), but every time he gets the shot, some nerve in his face acts up due to his past history with the Bell's palsey. Now he's worried about getting the vaccine for the covid b/c of the Bell's palsey. It's a mess. And if it ain't, it'll do til the mess gets here...

Why is that odd? Many people are wearing masks and trying to social distance and most events where there would normally be large crowds aren't happening. Natural immunity to the flu is already pretty high, add masks and social distancing and the only thing that would be odd would be if this was even a below average flu season...

I figured that Flu had to be controlled with the precautions we are taking

I think it will stay down for probably another 5 years until people forget what its like to live in a pandemic. The numbers will gradually increase each year but they'll still be lows compared to 2 years ago
