I guess Fiat has decided to market its 500 to gay dudes and chicks in the U.S. The Top Gear boys will be so sad.

I didn't know you were buying a Fiat 500.

Went and saw Drive. I liked it. In spite of the fact that it reminded me a lot of the horrid "The American". Basically it did everything right that "The American" fucked up.

I can see folks having that opinion. Like I said, it reminded me of "The American" which I hated. But I really think it basically executed it in a much more interesting way.
Started the film with a low speed "chase". The only other chase involved a Chrysler 300 outrunning a suped-up Mustang GT. Stupid and was less "drive" than talk.

Ended it with giving bad guy Albert Brooks (lmao) your back so he can take the money and stab you after he says, "I'll let the girl go, but I'll hunt you down forever."

So, anyway, stab Albert Brooks after he stabs you and you leave the money?

Not saying it always made sense. It lived in its own world. But it lived there well. Anyway...

What was suped up about the Mustang? He stole it off the street. I suppose Shannon could have worked on it, but they didn't show that. So maybe the Chrysler 300 was also suped up. Whatever. Point was, shit went wrong, but he was a good enough driver to get away from the trap.

I thought casting Albert Brooks as the heavy was brilliant.

Leaving the money was practical and a symbol. Symbolically, it showed once and for all that it was not about the money. The practical aspect is that if he took the money then whoever else was looking for it might still go after the girl and her kid.
Saw Killer Elite. Liked it. Good popcorn movie. More serious, than action but good.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

AA only likes movies where monkeys can see San Francisco from Muir Woods.

You a lie! Its clearly established that they go to Muir Woods... and Golden Gate park is in San Francisco. You can't get the view seen in the movie from anywhere in there.
