An existential secret is one whose revelation would destroy the group. If dad is a drug addict or a sex criminal, acknowledging it would shatter the family. The protection of the secret becomes the family’s unifying endeavor. If anyone says anything, it might reveal that everyone is in on the secret. The sick family devotes all necessary energies to collusion—to mutual and self-censorship.

During the past four years, American politics has been dominated by a coalition each of whose members, like codependent kin, has its own investment in group integrity and the power it derives therefrom. The superrich, academia, Islamists, Marxists and the media have colluded to suppress the true and impose the false.

We know that their perfidies, lawfare, slander, blacklisting and civil persecution were practiced on conservatives and Republicans, particularly on Mr. Trump. But the suppression was targeted primarily at their own voters.

To remain unthreatened by reason, the liberal populace had to be convinced to endorse various lies and fantasies: Black Lives Matter, Israel’s perfidy, unlimited abortion as a woman’s right, men’s right to compete in women’s sports, the abolition of the police, Mr. Trump’s demonic power and so on.

Why would rational people vote to destroy their borders, their cities, their jobs and their children?

Yes, why would rational people do this?

For the same reason the sick family must tolerate its dysfunction: The co-opted liberal electorate was terrified that any deviation would result in destruction of its protective unit. As it would.

The GOP elite, hate Trump. They denigrate him every chance they can. They never supported him. They still don't. Many GOP interests alienate Trump. Our future POTUS sometimes struggles to find enough allies, even within his own family. There is no terror on the part of the GOP from deviating from protecting the unit. That is the main reason why conservatism is vastly superior to liberalism, only truth matters.

Out of fear as to what has happened to J.K Rowling, the super rich are too pussy to say what they know is true, that there are only two genders. As are the Islamists. And the Marxists. And none can say that they support Israel. Or that abortion after 3 months gestation may be a bad idea.

THAT is imposing the false. The only Kamala voter that I know of in the public space, that is man enough to say there is only two genders, is Bill Maher. And this imposing the false is only a one-way street as there are many people on the right who were never Trumpers and are still not getting on the bandwagon. The right, we don't impose the false.

They do worse than that. They remain silent. Or obfuscate when cornered to take a position Strick Muslims know that abortion is disgusting and evil, a mark of the "Great Satan." They already know this to be true. But remain silent when anyone ELSE on the left says something so false because they don't want to alienate their allies for fear that their side will LOSE. That goes doubly true for Islamists in political power (like that cunt Ilhan Omar) when they see transgenders talk about gender being on a spectrum. That is a lie. They know it is a lie. The same way people like Miles Dyson knows its a lie. They all already know, there are only two genders. Ask Ilhan Omar to name any of the other "genders" and you will get no answers from her. But she will never say, there are only two genders. She (like all the others), they obfuscate and disregard questions about it when asked. They don't want to alienate any of their allies as it might jeopardize their "family" as it were.

Good news for yall lol-poor folks like tree, apparently the price of a 10 person thanksgiving feast is down 5% from last year which was down 5% from the year before. It apparently costs $58 to feed a family of 10, which is surprising because you wouldnt even be able to feed 10 people with taco bell drive through with $58.

I think I said this elsewhere, but it is worth repeating, now that I am retired I do odd things for fun. One such fun thing is working food service, something I never had time to do but I very much enjoy. In doing so, I worked with one manager who smiled and told me last year that he was an assistant manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken. This time of year, people hit the KFC and buy $50, $60, and even $70 worth of instant mashed potatoes. Then they bring them home, stick them in the freezer (still in their Styrofoam), and thaw them out on Wednesday to have them for Thanksgiving dinner. So people with more money than brains are willing to drop $70 to buy shitball, fast food, instant mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving instead of spending $5 at the grocer on whole potatoes, peeling, slicing, boiling for an hour, add salt, pepper, milk, and butter, and serving the same amount, fresh. That's fucked up.

Well I am independently wealthy now and I am retired. So that gives me the freedom to do the things I want to do. Occasionally, (to be around young people and listen to their woes and help mentor them) I work food service. But most of the time I use my education and intelligence to work in education. That gives me the time and freedom to work with my wife and manage our family businesses. I have many interests.
