I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I like the Hide you kids, hide your wifi one.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

There were a few classics on there. I may steal one.

going to drop cable TV all together starting in March

my sister's Boyfriend (who she now lives with) been doing it since the new year and they love it. They have all the gadgets & accessories, Ipads, tablets, widescreens, PS3, WII, XBOX 360 etc....

there's a service called Teksavvy in the city offering $39.95/mnth for 18 mbps & 300 gigs data with a cap of $55 for over usage

there's a also a 28 mbps for $46.95 option for 300 gigs that caps at $61.95 for usage

done deal, my cable & internet is currently $180 & thats with no phone & I still cant get ESPN in Canada

I've told a couple buddies and they are all aboard, I have a feeling this will lead to a mass exodus of sorts, I'm sick & tired of being raped by my cable company
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

I wouldn't expect Roku to replace cable, unless I also had a Netflix account or maybe Hulu Plus but if you want to watch niche programming or stuff you won't see on basic cable, Roku is great for that.

I would only need something for sports, I can get my news direct from the websites

I use TVtorrents.com for TV, generally they have a torrent up 1-2 hours after an episode airs, they never get shutdown and never have to move URL's as they are very strict about what they put up.

Only TV shows that have aired publicly can go up, if someone uploads a leaked episode prior to airing they nuke it. Any cropping of the frames.. nuked. You add a logo, leave commercials in, have audio desync'ed from the video.... nuked.

They do a full court press on the quality control and manage to keep themselves in that grey area where they do not get targeted for piracy.

It's a community though, so you have to keep torrents open and let them seed in order to build credits, which is not a problem. My account has never dipped below 25 gigs.

I think every BCS conference has a channel on Roku but I doubt you can watch games that are on nationwide TV. I haven't really tried.

I'm going to have to do some research, alot of those channels are geo-restricted and arent available in Canada

my only issue is college sports, NBA league pass & NFL channels are automatic no matter where you live in the world

this may just appeal to me but I think anyone watching it would appreciate the engineering that went into designing a WWII era Jeep

So my kids have this inflatable monstrosity in our place that they jump around in and dive on (it's like a smaller, 2 or 3 person version of a those Jumparoos people rent). They've creatively and unilaterally named it "The Bouncy House." Well I had to repair a small leak in the thing and then start to blow it back up (initially blowing air into it, then switching to an air pump).

While I was blowing it up, my 2 years old comes over and asked what I'm doing. I tell her I'm blowing up the bouncy house with air. She then asks me "what's air?"

Fuck.

So, I try to explain it as best I can...talking about balloons, breathing and even blowing air on her palm with the pump so she could see the air move the skin on her hand.

After about 2 mins of telling her what it was and giving examples, I stop talking and she looks at me blankly and says "good story, Daddy."

Then she gives me a hug and walks away.

We'll revisit the topic in 2 years and I'll give it another shot.

Brook: Well, the Air is what gives The Bouncy House its power. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together.

Mini-Brook: Daddy, I've runfrom one side of this place to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-surrounding "Air" controlling everything.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

I've been at UC all day for the IT, Comp Sci and Engineering job fair.

It was held in the rec center - a weird confluence of hot college girls working out on the equipment surrounding us and Duke level engineering girls walking in amongst us.
