Sad news today, as I have learned through Facebook that one of our regular posters, most recently posting under the moniker Hizzy III, passed away last Thursday.
I, like a handful of others, first ran across Hizzy as on the boards CNN/SI and he was a regular contributor in various baseball, basketball, and football boards that many of us frequented over the past 12 years or so. I also knew him as a contributor on HAIF, fellow participant in fantasy sports and a couple of sports simulation games. I never met him in person, but after years of interaction I knew that he was a sharp guy, a good person, and a friend. His perspectives and writing talent will be missed.
