Jordan Jefferson's suspension lifted

BATON ROUGE, La. -- A grand jury reduced charges against Jordan Jefferson to a misdemeanor for his involvement in a bar fight and the LSU quarterback's suspension from the top-ranked Tigers was lifted soon after Wednesday night.

Jefferson, who testified before the grand jury, is now charged with simple battery and faces maximum penalties, if convicted, of up to six months in jail and fines up to $500...........................

Having to play a 3rd string QB for the first time against LSU? This was not a fair fight from the beginning.

Well done. The game lived up to the hype. Bama was done in by their kicker. Horrible play calling in OT. LSU played great, but they are lucky McClaron stunk last night and the kicking game was off

Arkansas has a history of beating LSU, and Ole Miss is their rival. Neither of which is likely, but both are possible.

Only from Ole Miss' point of view are they a rival to LSU. Arkansas does have a history of beating LSU but that would create a 3 way tie and the higher rated team would go to the championship, which still probably would be LSU.

But Georgia in the Georgiacopydome in the SEC championship is the biggest risk to LSU before the national championship game, imo
