thank you hedge

USC is going to kick the living crap out of us. i don't think our 19 returning starters (from a team that just went 2-10) with a rookie head coach is much of a match for USC. their 4 and 5-star athletes will run circles around our players. of that I am not certain, but fairly confident.

that said, since I live where I live (Arizona) it would be irresponsible of me to NOT go to this game. I'm out here and getting to compton for a football game is not all that hard. there are about 20 of us meeting early in the morning for a tailgate. i expect that the tailgate before kickoff will be the high water mark of the day

BC opens at home against Villanova. we should win. then we get Wake Forest a week later (again at home.) I'll be very disappointed if a BC team with this much depth and experience can't beat Wake Forest at home. so we'll probably be 2-0 going to USC. at least I'll be there when our season crashes and burns.

by the by, you just worry about the gamecocks. i already fucking told you, there is NOTHING that you should be focused on right now (from a college football perspective) other than the gamecocks.

Reporters saying that Haden met the team at the airport, pulled Kiffin off the team bus, and fired him on the spot. Couldn't even wait till they returned to campus...lol. Cold-blooded

And Ed Orgeron is now USC's interim head coach. This is going to be hilarious.

Ogeron will never be accepted at USC. I actually think Sark would be a good fit.

From what I've read, a lot of USC fans think Sark's performance at Washington has been underwhelming. I think they're overlooking a bit how that program had been turned to shit by Willingham and that Oregon is a monster to compete with in the NW but understand their point. Agree that Coach O does not exactly scream "Los Angeles"

I think some SC fans are saying that because they think Sark will turn them down.

That raises an interesting question...do you think they will end up with a high profile coach?

I think nearly everyone expects Mack Brown to be done at the end of the year and a lot of the high profile guys may be waiting to see if they have a shot there.
