Stones always outlast fire. Insides not so much. Save the structure abd and you can always rebuild the insides

Your existence was the final straw and a burden too terrible to bear. Such is the shame your life brings to Western civilization.

I drank at a bar in Kent which was built in the 11 hundreds. Just think if those walls could talk...

Hey DS, that post is why your colleague Jim is going to make partner and you never will. He had minor outpatient surgery, and he showed up for work the next day, like a good man does. Unlike you, he didn’t let a little tiny boo boo keep him from doing his job.

Actually, Jim will take his legal talent someplace other than Fayetteville NC. He’s too good to waste the rest of life handling prostitution, pandering, public urination, and tattoo parlor bankruptcies.

Heh

You wouldn't recognize Fayetteville now.

Hay Street has been completely cleaned up and revamped. There are restaurants, breweries, pubs, etc.

The new minor league stadium opens tonight. It's on Hay Street behind where the strip clubs were once located.

There are dozens of townhomes and penthouses downtown that have sold for $400k+.

The county and city are going to build a new performing arts center. The old coliseum has a newish (15 years old) 10k seat arena, and there is a lot happening here for a city with a population of only 200k. It's not Raleigh, but it's not a bad place to live.

There are still a lot of sketchy areas, but there are some really nice areas here, along with a good mix of old and new money backing things.

It's sad but I wonder if Jim Baker is on TV somewhere telling rednecks that this is payback for all the kiddie diddling the Catholic church has been happy to cover up for so many years.

So which almighty is punishing our misdeeds with the Corona? Based on my current TV reception I'm going with Jesus.

I just took a half gummy. Should be posting some pretty interesting theological shit on here in 30 mins or so. For those of you playing at home, hinduism is the one true religion.

It's all relative, rat. It was actually a 5th of a gummy but I haven't partied like this since 2005.
