AARP covers the co-payment I believe. Anyways, now she's got pneumonia & a blood clot in her leg.

Today was just a rest day. My sister came in town from Calif for the weekend so I put her in charge while I took the afternoon off. I slept. This morning mom said she felt better. She's such a stubborn liar.

Mom had a bad day today yet she still made me leave with a smile. Got to her room about 7:30 am as usual. She was shaking like crazy which has been the norm lately because of her parkinsons which wears her out. Its like riding a jet ski 18 hrs a day at full throttle. Anyway. The nurse came in to get her vitals and I kept saying to mom, "I need a finger for your pulse. Mom! I need a finger for your pulse!" (Parkinsons makes her fists clench up). So after a few more times of asking she flips me the bird and has a huge smile on her face. I know she's still with us when she flips the bird.
