I think Dallas will get at least 1 at home...so we'll make it back to Miami. Didn't see the game last night but they were an inch away from OT again on Dirk's last shot.

Dallas win?

The series? Bahahaha.

The fix is dragging this out to six or seven games, making it look like Dallas belongs on the same floor with the Heat. (Jeez, I hate that name. Sounds like a horny cat, or a skin rash)

The last four minutes of that game were some of the worst played basketball for both teams. And it wasn't defense, it was just jacking up shots and missing with no flow to any offense

1. I disagree, the defensive rotations on both sides were spectacular. Both teams were moving the ball and defenders were running shooters off their spots consistently. The Heat especially, they cover so much ground defensively it's ridiculous.

2. Redbird, I see what you mean, the fix is in

3. If the nickname "Heat" makes you think of Horny felines then you have too many cats, maybe it's time to find a man

It's easy to defend when all your passes are around the perimeter and you're jacking up 20 footers, no pick and roll (especially by Dallas) and moves to the basket.

Frankly, the NBA should be embarrassed either way. The Heat's offense has sucked all season, despite the so-called "Big Three", and the other "contenders" have essentially shot bricks despite open looks in each of the Heat's playoff series, including this one. Not the Heat's fault, but this is far from championship caliber pro basketball in these playoffs, regardless of the team. The Spurs choking out against Memphis and the Lakers getting swept by Dallas should have been a dead giveaway that the teams are VERY weak this year, especially towards the end. Orlando getting beat by the Hawks is another one.

I disagree, the ball movement has been excellent by Dallas, there's just been nowhere to hide when Miami is covering that much ground on their defensive rotations

the pick & roll was gettng Dallas nowhere earlier in the series, the ball has gone inside and players have caught passes on the cut then had to kick out when the D collapses

IMO the offense has been fine, the defense is just better

I strongly disagree. The Mavericks have been extremely careless with the ball (Shawn Marion literally gave up on a post pass in the last game, allowing the Heat defender to tip it towards the baseline, and even then Marion couldn't be bothered to go after it). The Heat have reverted to one-on-one faceups in every quarter of every game, even when they've got something working in the post. It's just not well executed basketball on the offense end and, while I agree that good defense is being played, the poor offense is exacerbated by the basic lack of execution by both teams.

It doesn't help that Dallas, as is often the case in the playoffs for them and other jump shooting teams, is going through a fairly cold streak with their jump shooting.

This is a better game than the others.

These players are so big and fast, they make it seem like they're playing on a short court.
