Oh, stormy, oh, stormy, bring back that sunny day
Yesterday´s love was like a warm summer breeze
but like the weather it changed
New things are dreary baby and it´s windy and cold
and I stand alone in the rain callin´ your name

If Cohen made the payment and Trump reimbursed him, they might have had to report that payment, like all payments candidates make to their campaigns. Trump might try to claim that it had nothing to do with the campaign and was a private matter, but that might not pass the smell test, given that it happened just weeks before the election. But if Cohen paid the $130,000 out of his pocket … then that would mean he may have made an illegal in-kind contribution to the campaign. He obviously wants to protect Trump, but in doing so he may be implicating himself. [The Washington Post]

No surprise, The Donald's new budget proposal dovetails nicely with his recent big tax give-away. What a motherfucker.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/get ... 18cddf077b

Nancy Altman, president of Social Security Works, wrote this in response to Trump’s FY19 budget proposal: “Despite Donald Trump’s numerous promises during his presidential campaign to not cut Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid, he proposes to cut all three in his just-released budget. And not just by a little. He proposes cuts of over $1.8 trillion to the three programs. On top of that, he proposes to slash Meals on Wheels, home heating assistance, and other programs on which seniors rely. It is noteworthy that Republicans just passed, for almost the same price tag, a huge tax giveaway to their donors. So that’s the Republican plan: save money by gutting programs for the elderly and transfer the savings to the billionaire class.”

Mueller has indicted so many ham sandwiches he should open a deli.

A mafia inmate once told me "FBI" stands for "Forever Bothering Italians," or "Full Blooded Irish."

Now it means, "Famous But Ineffective."

trumptards can trick their minds like that...history has already proven it.

Interesting article, but what does that have to do about Trump supposedly colluding with Russia?

Wait a minute... I thought Manafort was already an indicted, and therefore cooperative, witness for Mueller. I figured Manafort has already sworn that Trump was the shooter on the grassy knoll. Why is Lurch now ratcheting up pressure on a supposedly cooperative witness? Is Manafort not cooperating all of a sudden? Are Manafort's lawyers going the same route as Flynn's, and getting all the charges against him based on FISA thrown out?

Sooo, watched a little of the TV version of Waco the other night and it dawned on me how we've come 180 degrees in dealing w/kooks w/guns.
1993, in Waco the FBI...ATF are in full riot gear, try to storm the compound resulting in death on both sides. 2018, FBI is notified of a kook w/gun who publicly states intentions to kill students and they stand down.

Seems like these incidents happen randomly among both parties' administrations....just noting our growing reluctance to deal w/crime/weirdos/folks on the fringe of society. Shout at the inanimate....

....but please, carry on w/your personal TDS circus.
