Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) is not impressed with Steve Bannon for claiming executive privilege as his reason to not answer questions before the House Intelligence Committee yesterday.

Gowdy spoke to Bill Hemmer on America’s Newsroom on Wednesday, and the first subject that came up Bannon saying that the White House ordered him not to talk about his work with President Trump. Gowdy suggested that the most annoying part of Bannon’s reluctance to answer questions is that its harder now to ask him about his statements to Michael Wolff about the Trump campaign’s Russian lawyer meeting.

“This is the same person who accused two of the president’s family members of committing treasonous acts, so of course we’ll want to cross-examine him on what he thinks was treasonous,” Gowdy said. “If you accuse somebody of a crime for which you can be put to death, what is your evidence for that?”

LOL Howdy Gowdy is playing a fool's game...he really doesn't want to hear everything Sloppy Steve knows.

Sloppy Steve doesn't know squat. Buried deep in this article...
'Total free-for-all' as Bannon clashes with Intel members

... the writers accidentally put this pin into the latest Trump-Russia collusion balloon:
Bannon was not a participant in a number of key incidents believed to be focal points of the Mueller investigation, including the Trump Tower meeting and the dismissal of FBI Director James Comey.
Bzzzzzzzt.Thank you for playing. Vanna will show you to the door.

The MSM-Democrat reaction to something as trivial as the president’s height and weight - even to the point of suggesting a conspiracy in there somewhere - is yet further evidence that THEY are the ones who are demented, deranged, delusional, and mentally ill. Not Trump.

Long live TDS!

Once upon a time something like this would have been big news. Now this stuff is forgotten within minutes, giving way to the newest WH scandal du jour.

And to think oprama caught hell for filling out NCAAT brackets.

Would that be the classic blues song, “Stormy Monday,” as performed by country music legend Charlie Daniels? I haven’t heard it, but I think I’d rate it really high.

In other news, here is a REAL man and superpower boss, celebrating Russian Orthodox Epiphany in a typically Russian and manly way...

hedge, for a guy who doesn't believe in God, you seem to appeal to Him a lot. AA too.

Toe, here is a map of all the states that liberals consider to be shitholes. They are the red ones:

Nice. I would have added “Again,” but that is still solid work.

In other news, I was a little concerned about the effect of a government shutdown on my retirement check, but then I found this:

So now it can last a year and I will be okay with that too.
