The women who have shared their stories about Harvey Weinstein over the last few days are incredibly brave. It takes a lot of courage to come forward, and we owe them our thanks.
And as we hear more and more about Mr. Weinstein, it’s important to remember that while his behavior was appalling, it’s far too common.

You're not comparing a photo where he's not even touching the other person to what Weinstein did, are you?

Let's just sit back and compare the comments/coverage of Franken v Moore.

Not defending Franken on this now that I've seen the full report, but I still say what he did is a far cry from the non-consensual pedophilia that Moore was evidently practicing regularly...

yes, on one hand you've got Al Franken immediately owning up to this and saying he fucked up. On the other, you've got Roy Moore saying it's ok to date 14 year olds because he asked their mothers first.

The big difference between Franken and Moore is there is actual irrefutable evidence against Franken.

Remember Dan Rather’s forged documents about Bush’s draft dodging? Remember the staged exploding truck gas tanks? But I do know someone who used to work in Alabama state government, including the district where Moore was a District Attorney. She is also a devout Republican. She said Moore’s hitting up on teenage girls was a poorly guarded secret back then.

Seems Al asked to rehearse a kiss, she said ok, and by golly he kissed her. There wasn't any negotiation about tongue (her loss). In the picture his hands are hovering above her vest. Sophomoric stuff for sure.

If he wants to make a run at the WH he needs to step up his game.

And in so doing, I just agreed to hand the Democrats another Senate seat, and bring you one step closer to taking over the Senate in 2020. (Actually, I am already so disgusted with the Senate Republicans, a part of me will be happy when the Dem’s take the Senate in 2020, but I digress..,)

But Democrats don’t EVER do that. I am not at all surprised the resident liberals will twist and contort and give themselves hernias in a desperate attempt to protect a world class sleaze ball like Franken. Not surprised at all.
