Ruffin McNeill has been "relieved of his duties." This is a shock to many, but administration felt he had underperformed even during the good years. Then he went 5-7 this year. The AD who hired him, Holland, is gone, and the current AD wasn't that high on him. I heard first hand from someone I know close to the program that his future was in doubt this past Sunday after they gave the game away to UC. I thought he would survive for another year, but that was not the case. Ruff is probably one of the nicest guys in coaching, and I hate to see it end this way for him. However, this is the life he choose...
