This season will mark the end of the WAC, a conference that began in 1962 with six members: Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. For perspective's sake, in that year South Carolina was still in the ACC, Tulane was still in the SEC, and the Pac-8 was still called the AAWU.
