They should be able to come up with the two best teams out of the four. that's what's important. Who cares who the 4th, 6th or 8th place teams are. They will only muck things up. Blind squirrel and all that..

Disagree. Yeah, it's highly doubtful that the 7 or 8 seed would upset the 1 or 2, but the 5 or 6 seed could make some noise. And, in a situation like this year, say UNC beats Clemson on Saturday, if there was an 8 team playoff, Clemson would probably drop to a 5 or 6, and they'd be plenty capable of winning it all. 8 team playoff is the way to go...

I want to see more good football, I dont give a flying fuck if every game "matters". I think more playoff games gives you at least 4 more good games by definition, and it also muddies the water enough for stength of schedule to be important. Right now if you are Ohio State or Oklahoma or Alabama, getting through the schedule with 1 loss or less is actually more important than playing good teams. If you could make the playoffs with 2 losses and a strong conference season, I think youd see more teams play big matchups for the preparation knowing that winning the conference still gets you in.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

No. Florida will not make it if they beat Alabama. That's as obvious as hedge getting a boner looking at the retarded girl at good will. But Florida State did not Stomp the Gators. Fuck you.

True. A four-score victory by FSU is a struggle.

I remember our "down to the wire", 43-3 struggle over Wake Forest last year.

Yeah. I guess up 13-2 with 6 minutes left is dominating. But that garbage TD with 20 seconds left nailed it.

Yeah, if the other guy smokes a fat one before walking into the ring. Yep, then they have a punchers chance.

Congrats to the Bama Fans. Now, go make the conference look good. Us folks with the suspect offenses may look pretty dreary in the bowl games if our defense doesn't learn to score more touchdowns?

Grats on another title Tide. Hopefully the next time we meet it will be on more equitable footing. Good luck in the playoff.

Thanks to all of you. Enjoyed talking with the Gators before, during, and after the game, as well. Classy fan base.

That is going to be a great game, but Bama wins a close one.

At this point, I am just pulling for everyone to beat Clemson.
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

The team that got punished by Tex-ass and damn near lost to the Vols? OK.

A) Losing by 7 isn't exactly punished. Of course you also said FSU destroyed UF so.....

B) An early Sept game against the Vols helps you make a point why?

I could easily point to MSUs narrow 3 point escape from Purdue or getting "dominated" by Nebraska but I'm not that dumb.

Speaking of classy fan bases and being humble in victory, did the Bama crowd Rammer Jammer the Gators after the win?
