What about it? Newman was a cool guy; I feel I have a lot in common with him. Neither of us could square the circle of Anglo-Catholicism. Newman went to real Catholicism. I went to Orthodoxy.

BTW, you're typing pretty well on this, national marijuana day.

Interesting article about the Christian mission in North Korea before WWII had them evacuated. Didn't know Kim Il Sung was actually raised Presbyterian by his mother and father before becoming atheist later in life...The rest is history

An interesting article in Atlantic about the explosive growth of Christianity in China:

https://www.theatlantic.com/internation ... on/521544/

How could a country full of atheist communists do this? I thought once a society reaches a certain level of wealth and education, they always move away from the darkness and ignorance of religion and towards the enlightenment and reason of atheism. I thought "once you've had Marx, you never go back." This seems to be going in reverse in China.

Bill was the preacher, but she learned a little from him over the years. Both of them are rotten to the core. This was my song dedicated to Hillary on Trump's election day.

Attention Prof, Sardis, and the rest of you Medieval religious morons - don't be alarmed, the sun will come back this afternoon.

You should've told them that you were going to make the sun disappear today b/c they had angered you. By 4:30 they would've been worshiping you as a god...

Drove up to the Tennessee-Georgia line to watch and record the totality while chanting Psalm 104. It was great.
