Not Kentucky.......all of the above would beat 'em.

A&M beat the name on the front of the jersey tonight, but the reality is they beat a potentially sub .500 team in the SEC, and if we go sub .500 even with a high RPI, we're going to the NIT.

That home stretch is tough. We are likely to be 3-3 in it and enter the SEC tourney with a 19-12 record. If we're one and done there, we are likely NIT bound with a 19-13 record. If we go 1-1 (at minimum) and end up 20-13 (or better), I think we make it.

UK players will be up for Bama

it will be the game of the week or whatever marketing ploy ESPN has for it and the UK players will play like they care in that game.

It's at Rupp, too. I have it as a Bama loss.

AA found a whole new sport to sandbag...

You, prof, are still an idiot. Bama is unranked and has 9 losses with 6 games left. Nothing I wrote could even be remotely construed as 'sandbagging'.

We are a confusing team. Our last 7 games. Win one, lose one. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Oklahoma W

we aren't confusing

we're a collection of lazy entitled kids that only respond when they think it might give them draft stock

Give me the Sexton kid any day of the week over any one of our players on this team

I'm not saying Bama wins, but a loss to Bama at Rupp would pretty much kill the season. We're on life support now.

I like Sexton. He plays hard and has been injured all season. My one complaint is that he gets too fired up. He will be dropping F-bombs toward the UK student section at Rupp when we play. He seems to feed off the boos.

And fWIW, UK makes the Dance. #18 RPI and the Kentucky name. There is no way in hell you will be going to the NIT. None. Would take that action right now.

if we are sub 500 in the SEC , it would be an insult to any mid major with a strong record to take us on name alone.

Now if we finish above .500 in the SEC, then yea, we should go and take our rightful place of being a loser in the first round.

The Committee apparently doesn't consider conference record (according to Jerry Palm, anyway). He says RPI is king. Things like last 10 or 12 games, conference record, and other rating entities (KenPom, etc) don't mean anything.

That kid from A&M out there playing with a torn ACL got alot of respect from UK fans last night.

Senior on the team knowing he might not suit up to play high level basketball after this and wants to get the as much of it as he can before his time is up.

We were about ten rows up in the section behind student section across from the benches. It's cliche, but Maye looked like he was ready to explode when he came out for the second half. When he hit those three quick buckets to start the half, I looked at my wife and said "it's on now."

Walking out of that tax payer funded shithole after a win is enjoyable.
