I was sitting at a long stoplight yesterday, minding my own business, patiently waiting for it to turn green even though there was no on-coming traffic. A carload of scruffy-bearded, young men shouting Anti-American slogans with a half-burned American Flag duct-taped on the trunk of their car and a "Remember 9-11" slogan spray painted on the side was stopped next to me.
Suddenly they yelled, "Allah Akbar! Praise Allah! Death to America" and took off before the light changed.
Out of nowhere an 18-wheeler came speeding through the intersection and ran directly over their car, crushing it completely and killing everyone in it.
For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself:
"Man... that coulda been me!"
So today, bright and early, I went out and got a job as a truck driver.

Read to the end. It's a charming end to the story.

That's just dumb luck that that reporter stumbled onto a couple of members of that 5% Prof was talking about...

Kevin Spacey, now Louie C.K.

apparently Louie likes to pull his penis out and jerk off while women watch. Except they don't want him to.

I'm starting to wonder if not trying to rape someone is abnormal behavior.

I'm not saying that's OK, but it doesn't sound like he forced them to watch, and it also doesn't sound like these were women that he had any professional power over, although obviously being a more famous comedian (although I don't know how big an act Louis CK was in 2003) does in a sense make him more powerful. But it doesn't sound like he did anything to hamper their careers, although maybe his agent did. Again, it seems pretty weird and not cool to invite some women in a bar up to your hotel and then start jacking off in front of them, but I wouldn't put that in the same category as sexual assault or rape, esp. if no force or coercion was involved...

"Asked whether or not the report would upend Moore’s campaign, Ziegler predicted that Alabama voters would be angrier at the Washington Post for “desperately trying to get something negative” than Moore for his dalliances with teenage girls decades ago.

“He’s clean as a hound’s tooth,” Ziegler claimed, before relying on Scripture to defend Moore.

“Take the Bible. Zachariah and Elizabeth for instance. Zachariah was extremely old to marry Elizabeth and they became the parents of John the Baptist,” Ziegler said choosing his words carefully before invoking Christ. “Also take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”

“There’s just nothing immoral or illegal here,” Ziegler concluded. “Maybe just a little bit unusual.”

If Louis CK resorts to scripture to defend his behavior, I'm going to be really disappointed...

This whole "Joseph was an adult/Mary was a teenager - what's the diff" thing is hysterical. Others are saying stuff about "the past is past" or "doesn't matter, I'd still take Roy over Doug (Jones, the dem).

A few months back the Alabama governor resigned over an affair. With a 40-something year old woman. No problems for the GOP there since he was giving up the seat to another party member. But they'll be goldanged if they'll give up a Senate seat to a dem.. so the excuses are piling up.

A similar thing happened in TN with a Congressman named DeJarlais. That's the guy who had a standoff with police over a domestic dispute with his ex-wife (he put a gun barrel in his mouth). But later tapes were made public of him begging the woman he was cheating with behind his current wife to have an abortion of their love child - and naturally this guy was rabidly pro-life. Didn't matter - he still won over the dem by a whisker.

This guy is definitely going to be elected. He already checks the important boxes - hates gays, hates blacks, isn't a Democrat - but now he can spin a tale about the time he tried to make a jesus with a 14 year old girl. The hyper religious morons (98% of Alabama) are going to eat this up.

I wouldn't say 98%, but it's a solid 70, no doubt.

I may have exaggerated a bit for effect. But, it's more than enough to get this guy elected.

I know power is a trip for these kinds of people - whether its in Hollywood, politics, sports

but there are so many people out there just willing to fuck, I'm just lost on the whole forcing sex on someone

it wasn't that hard to get laid back in my day, and we had the aids!

I don't think it's so much about the sex with these folks as about the particular type of sex that satisfies whatever need they have. With Weinstein types, it seems like it's about just being able to pick whoever you want like candy and not caring how they feel about it, just a display of power. With Spacey and Roy Moore, it seems like they just liked underage boys and girls. I'm not real sure what's going on with Louis CK...

Weiner got 21 months...his victim was 8 states away (and she sought HIM out). He's a pos, but at least he didn't take her into the woods and abuse her.
